Method of keeping Turkey

Method of keeping Turkey:

Turkey is one of the 11 species of poultry. Scientific name Meleagris gallopavo This is one of the Kinds of big-sized birds of Turkey's Miligrididi family. It looks like chicken is like a baby but is relatively large in size. Turkey is domesticated around the world. Adapts quickly With the environment and does not require advanced infrastructure to observe. Turkey consumes 30-40% of soft food every day, so food costs are less. Medical costs are less than the disease, less expensive. Very good for meat production (5-6 kg at our age of 6 months). As a bird's Meat it's fun and low-fat. So turkeys can be complementary to cattle, Khasi, poultry and domestic poultry meat.
Turkey can be observed in two ways:

1. Free practice;

2. Intensive method

Turkey

Free Falling System:

200-250 full adult turkeys can be observed in an acute landfill in the Free farming system. At night bird stake place at 3-4 sqft rate. The need to take the necessary measures to protect them from hunting animals. To provide shade and cool environment, the plant will be planted in the farm. Parasitic infection is low in the pasture. The advantage of this method is that it costs less than half of the cost of food, which is higher than the cost of small investors.

Food:
Turkeys can eat garbage very well in the free feeding system, they can eat worms, small insects, snails, kitchen waste and polka. There are plenty of proteins that reduce food consumption by almost 50 percent. In addition, bean fodder such as Lucerne, Desmanthus, Stylo is fed to these. Calcium is to be given as 250 grams per week by mixing granules open to prevent choking and leaking of birds from grazing birds. To reduce the cost of food, 10 percent of the food can be filled with vegetable waste.

Intensive method

Turkey's habitat in an intensive way provides shelter, rain, wind, and survival from predatory animals. When planting in relatively hot areas, the walls will be placed in length from east to west. The open house width should not be more than 9 meters. The height of the house from roof to ceiling should be between 2.6 to 3.3 meters. To prevent rain clips, the house shed should be increased to one meter. The floor of the house is durable, safe and moist proof, such as concrete. At least 50 to 100 meters of distance between the age group and the adult birdhouse should be maintained and at least 20 meters distance between the two houses should be maintained. The normal operation of turkey dishes in Deep Litter mode is similar to that of chicken, but proper living, water, and feeder space should be kept for larger birds.

Food:

In the intensive system, turkey chicken will have to feed both mash and pile (tablets) in both ways. Turkey's energy, protein, and mining need more than chicken. Therefore, they must have excesses in turkey food. The feeders will not be able to eat food on the ground. Since the amount of energy required for men and women is different, they must be observed separately to get good results. Turkeys always need constant water. To avoid the weakness of the feet, granules should be given at 30-40 grams per day and it should be done slowly if needed to change the food.
